Ethics

I saw a lone dog once
frightened, limping, and inconsolable.
such sad eyes, that.
to be betrayed by man, for a mere lick
a slight nuzzle.

I went to it, and tried--
.........to pet it, and evoke remembrance of mans' gentleness,
but it gave a growling growl, and ran away—shaking.
It's likely dead now. died alone.

ignorant, the leaves still turn god's crimson shades.
eighth notes still hissing byyyiiiiiiiii.
and ohhhh how the girls love to kiss their boys.

you're wrong. Aristotle never said that—you've misread.
I'll tell you why in class, only if you ask me with your eyes.
