I recently found out Christian Bale is Welsh. Born in Welsh, raised in England. This came as a surprise to me, because he always has a different accent in interviews.
English, Welsh, Boston, Australian, Northern American (no southern-drawls just yet), he's a man of different many voices.
Of course, he's usually staying in character - though sometimes the interview occurs far after the film, which leads me to believe he's prepping for an upcoming character. Either way, it's interesting to see how well he can change his accent, with just the slightest of variations.
