Found some old stuff I had jotted down some time ago. It's funny how "forever" never lasts.

In the last scene of Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut Bill (Tom Cruise) uses the word "forever", referring to he and his wife Alice (Nicole Kidman)'s rekindled love. She tells him not to use that word, "forever", because it frightens her. It's too long.

The scene, and the movie, ends when Alice says, "There's only one thing we have to do now." Bill asks, "What's that?" and Alice replies, "Fuck."

I only deal in conditional forevers.
